When you begin to struggle during your fast, say this out loud without fear:

I am determined to bring my flesh under subjection to the Spirit of God because I want God's best for my life. I refuse to walk in the flesh any longer. From this day forward I will walk in the Spirit so that I will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. I will allow God to glorify His name through my life. I will obey Him in prayer and fasting.

Belly, I want you to know that Christ is in control of my life. You no longer have authority. You will obey----whether you like it or not. Belly, I want you to understand that because God is in charge of my life, God is in charge of YOU. You cannot rule me any longer. I have given my life completely to the Lord, and I intend to do His will.
